Gunnar A. Buchhammer joined Smith Johnson in September 2024 as an associate. Gunnar graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law with a concentration in Business and Estate Planning. Before law school, Gunnar attended Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska, and majored in Business Administration and Legal Studies. Gunnar was the recipient of the Rural Law Opportunities Program Scholarship during his time at Chadron State College. In his free time, Gunnar enjoys golfing, reading, and spending time with his wife, RaeAnn. Gunnar is originally from Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and is looking forward to becoming part of the Grand Island community.
